We started seeds under lights in the house about mid-March: lettuces, chinese greens, broccoli, kale, onions, tomatoes and several kinds of flowers.
In the garden, we planted salad greens, arugula, spinach and peas on March 27th – way early for this climate, but it was such a glorious spring week – and then it snowed all the next week. Thank goodness the seeds are smart enough to wait, unlike the gardener!
April 20th – transplanted the onions and leeks, started in March, into the garden.
